American Idol contestant killed in a car accident

The former American Idol Contestant Alexis Cohen became a victim of a hit-and-run incident, early morning of Saturday in the Seaside Heights New Jersey.

The 25 years old Alexis was struck by a vehicle and died due to severe head and chest injuries. A man named Daniel Bark was later arrested and charged with aggravated manslaughter and drunken driving.

Alexis Cohen became a popular show contestant and an internet sensation due to her tirade on the judges who rejected her audition performances on the 7th and 8th season of the popular talent show.
