Looks like gma 7 won’t be doing a second season of philippine idol anymore and is replacing it with their very own singing talent seach “are you the next big star?” that will be hosted by Ms. Regine Velasquez.

Amateur, experienced and professional singers are welcome to join, but these singing professionals must have no existing recording contracts whatsoever and no mainstream appearances in 2008.

Are you the next big star requirements:
male or female aspiring singing superstars ages 16 to 24 years old who possess the talent and the quality of a filipino who have the potential to create a name or a comeback in the music industry

you just need to bring with you, your NSO birth certificate (photocopy and original) 3R photos, (1 close up and 1 full body) valid ID’s and 2 audition materials/cd in minus one (1) formats.

proceed to the following audition venues on the dates and time provided:

April 2 and April 3 – SM Baliwag – 10am
April 18 – SM Batangas – 10 am
April 24 and April 25 – SM Marikina – 10 am
