Darna’s leading man is Mark Anthony Fernandez, Buboy as Ding
Marian Rivera’s leading man on Darna will be Mark Anthony Fernandez, son of the late “Daboy” who will play the role of “Efren” in the series.
Ding, the brother/sidekick of Narda will be played by “Buboy” or Robert Villar in real life, the child actor that we’ve seen in Dyesebel, Lalola, Zorro and in that spaghetti sauce commercial.
Marian is now currently undergoing Wushu training and at the same time practicing her flying skills, getting ready to face villains like Valentina, Babaeng Impakta, Lawin, Tuod and Babaing Linta when the series starts its airing this coming August 2009.
