Eva Castillo Story in SRO Cinemaserye
Ms. Regine Velasquez will portray herself in the upcoming SRO Cinemserye on GMA 7 entitled “The Eva Castillo Story”.
Regine and Eva are archrivals on their early days of amateur singing career, The songbird and her singing contest rival were reunited when Eva was invited to sing in Regine’s birthday special concert “Roots to Riches”.
Eva run away when she was in 3rd year highschool and got married in the age of 17, she and her driver husband has now seven children, and she makes a living as a “merienda” vendor in Tondo.
Blessings came pouring in to Eva Castillo after “Roots to Riches” as she was invited on shows like Sis, Mel and Joey and SOP to sing.
She was also hired by Allan K. to be a regular singer in Klownz comedy bar and has also recorded the theme song for the afternoon dramarama “Kung aagawin mo ang lahat sa akin”.
SRO Cinemaseryes presents The Eva Castillo Story will start this coming July 23 after Cruel Love on Gma 7.
