Noynoy Aquino will run for president 2010
Senator Benigno Noynoy Aquino III finally announced (sept.9) that he will run for president in the 2010 presidential election.
He said that he accepts the call of the people and the advice of his parents, which is the responsibility to continue the fight for our nation’s democracy and accept the challenge to lead this fight, he ended his speech stating that he will run for president in the coming 2010 election.
Noynoy made the announcement on the 40th day of her mother’s death (Former President Corazon C. Aquino) at the historic Club Filipino in Greenhills , the place where his mother took the oath as president during the final day of the EDSA People Power Revolution on Feb. 25, 1986.
