UP Los Banos Reacts to Maalala Mo Kaya – Blusa Episode
The recently aired Maalaala mo kaya episode “Blusa” starring Angel Locsin got the attention of the University of the Philippines Los Banos.
The story of MMK Blusa is about a summa cum laude who graduated from the said university that later became a stripper and ended up being a “taong grasa”.
Upon UPLB’s tracking of its 27 summa cum laude graduates, they can’t find anyone matching the woman, portrayed by Angel Locsin in Maalaala mo kaya episode last february 28
UP Los Banos has requested ABS-CBN to correct the wrong impression it made to their institution due to the false information the MMK Blusa episode has shown, which they think affected the reputation of their institution, alumni and students
