Wapakman – Manny Pacquiao and Nicole Scherzinger movie

Pound for pound king Manny Pacman Pacquiao to star in a comedy/science fiction (sci-fi) movie “Wapakman” with Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls as his leading lady.

WWE wrestler Batista will be also included in the film as he will play the role of Pacquiao’s mortal enemy.

Meanwhile, Solar Films producer Wilson Tieng has revealed in an interview on ANC that other (undisclosed) fil-am celebrities will participate in the said movie.

And according to some speculations, possible fil-am stars to appear are Actor Lou Diamond Philips, Tia Carrere, Rob Schneider, Youtube sensation HappySlip or Christine Gambito in real life.

“Wapakman” will be a story of a single dad who has acquired supernatural powers ala “Kung Fu Hustle”.

The film will be directed by Topel Lee and will begin its shooting on July. Target release on theaters is on October 2009.
